Retina IIIc type 021-I

from 1954 to 1957

production: 209,765

The first Retina with light meter, rangefinder and interchangable front element. Could be changed from 50mm to 35 or 80

This one has the harder to find Rodenstock Heligon f2 50mm lens

This was the very first Retina camera in my collection, it had belonged to a professional photographer in country Australia. I bought it from a camera shop in Orange where it had been sitting on a shelf with no one to appreciate it.

Basically the same as the type 021-I but with a single range light meter

 Retina IIIC type 028

It had a bright line viewfinder with lines for 35, 50 and 80mm lenses

The last of the comercially produced folding Retinas
